HI there, I’M Brooke
a full time, published Adventure Elopement Photographer based in good ol Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I've had the opportunity to document love stories all over the world and when I say this is my dream job just know I am screaming that from the highest mountains. In fact this really isn't a job for me, it has become my lifestyle and I am honored that you have found your way to my slice of the web.
I have always been a gypsy nomad to my core. What started off as a simple 6 month backpacking hiatus quickly turned into the business I run and love today. From dreaming up your big day, helping you find accommodation, tying your wedding dress, to crying behind the camera as you see each other for the first time...I don't take these moments lightly. It is such an amazing experience to be able to strap my camera on and be a witness to one of the most important days of your life!
I believe every person deserves to get married in a stress free environment with no lingering obligations. Your wedding day should be an exact representation of your unique love for one another. The places/locations/landscapes I have witnessed are absolutely amazing but nothing compares to creating an open environment for ALL couples to come as they are, feel safe, and valued. That is the magic and secret sauce to capturing authentic images.

To put it simply..life is too damn short to live by anyone else's standards or expectations. Do what sets your soul on fire! We are on this floating rock for a blink so do YOU!
I don't consider myself a materialistic person but if I had to choose one thing to never go without, it would be photographs. The way they can revive your memory is something truly special. I look at this image on the right of my wife and I and on cannon beach and I am brought right back to this moment. This amazing trip where we traveled the entire coast of Oregon in a 1989 Westfalia van. Jazzed up on coffee, eager for what the day would bring, the sound of the waves crashing in and the seagulls circling above. Thirty years from now I will be sitting on my front porch with her, sipping coffee, and looking at this photo, laughing about the good times had. Your memories are priceless, your photographs are timeless.
Look, chances are you are a bit nervous (maybe alotta nervous) about being in front of a camera. I GET IT. BECAUSE SAME! I am not here to put you into awkward poses and make you stand and cheese at the camera. This is a unfiltered, untamed, experience and the thing I hold at the top of my priority list is providing an open environment where you feel comfortable enough to be YOU! I can promise that I am going to give you everything I have in me to ensure your dream wedding becomes a reality but remember it takes three to tango at this party. All I ask for is honesty and authenticity. Magic will follow.

Mother nature is your backdrop. That in itself is pretty rad. Being in the elements, standing among the pines, gasping at the beauty of a a starry filled night, all while sharing these moments with the one you are choosing to walk this life with is truly phenomenal. Each and every single one of my couples inspires me. The bravery it takes to break tradition and go against the grain is pretty badass. The intentional choice to do things YOUR way and craft a handmade wedding day. so much YASSS!

DIRT CHAI LATTE'S ARE LIFE. COLD WATER IMMERSION IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS. IF WE FIND AN ALPINE LAKE, I AM DEFINITELY JUMPING IN. I CRY IN ALL MOVIES. MY DREAM IS TO MOTORBIKE THROUGH ALL OF THE NATIONAL PARKS ALL WHILE SHOOTING AN ELOPEMENT AT EACH ONE. I LOVE TO COOK.
BEYOND FAMILY, ADVENTURE AND TRAVEL ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO ME. BEFORE MY TIME IS FINISHED ON THIS ROTATING ROCK I HOPE TO TRAVEL EVERY CORNER OF IT. I AM AT MY HAPPIEST WITH A BACKPACK STRAPPED ON, CAMERA IN HAND IN UNKNOWN TERRITORY. I DON'T LIKE SCRATCHING THE SURFACE OF PLACES. I WANT TO LIVE LIKE A LOCAL IN EACH COUNTRY AND NOT JUST EXPERIENCE THE BEST OF THE BEST A PLACE HAS TO OFFER.
AS MUCH AS I TRAVEL I STILL ABSOLUTELY HATE FLYING ESPECIALLY OVER OPEN WATER. I WAS ONCE STRANDED IN THE SEA IN LABUAN BAJO, INDONESIA AND HAD TO BE RESCUED BY THE INDONESIAN COAST GUARD. SO MUCH FUN.

I have a photo-journalism background so I am very much a documentary styled photographer. If I had to put a label on my style I would say that it is timeless, and candid. I understand there is a time and place for posed shots and I always make sure to get those but I am also here to get the in between moments. If your dress is purple your images are going to reflect that. My editing style is true to what actually took place. You wake up on your wedding day with Mt. Rushmore on your forehead, of course I will photoshop that out for you but I do draw the line when asked to do other things and most likely I am going to tell you to love yourself and be present in the moment and to stop sweating the small stuff.
I can have a strong voice and guide you along or I can melt into the background. I find that having a good mix of both is always best.
