This is your day. How does it feel? What does it look like? Is it just the two of you? Is your family there? Dog? Are you in the mountains? Do you hear the ocean? Did you get ready in a tent, a cute air b, or a swanky hotel. Are you hiking with a backpack strapped on and poles in your hands or finding an amazing look out? Is it snowing or sunny? Rock climbing, dirt bike riding, scuba diving nothing is off limits. You get the point here. The name of the game when eloping is customized. I mean it when I say each elopement is so unique to you and that is a beautiful thing. My fiance and I are doing a two day elopement in the dolomites.
The first day it will just be my partner and our son there. We've rented a small boat to explore a beautiful alpine lake. We do a bit of hiking and make a french pressed coffee on the mountain tops where we will say our vows. The second day we will gather with friends and family and celebrate over wine, coffee and all the pizza. We have incorporated different traditions from different religions such as Henna, rituals of togetherness, meditation and others. I encourage you to take the time to find a quiet place where you and your partner can truly explore what your day looks and feels like.
